lotus tattoo

okay, moments later, i've decided to submit this anyway. (i don't like seeing my ID on my page twice...)

anyway, yea, tattoo design. i initially started drawing this to cover up my existing tattoo (this) but then the full designed... blossomed... so to speak (HA! i'm lame) and now it won't be covering anything up except blank skin, in the upper middle of my back. (except i still need to come up with something to cover the other tattoo.)

i inked it by hand and then scanned it.....but it looked crappy and unfinished, so i vectored it in PSP. i am not that advanced in the way of vectors, but spirals that increase and decrease in width are REALLY annoying to do, and so they're not as perfect as i would like them to be. also, i coloured it in PSP as well, doing it by hand with prismacolours failed miserably. any critiques on the choice of colour? i couldn't really decide, all i know is that i want the tips to be yellow....
